Abstrahldurchmesser 3 mm, passend an UW 50, SH 100 G und SH 200 G (HD 4100 und HD 4200) und HD 4050. Sonotroden übertragen die mechanischen Schwingungen in die Probe, sind thermostabil, autoklavierbar und beständig gegen korrosive Medien. Probenvolumen, Gefäßdurchmesser und gewünschte Amplitude bestimmen Geräteauswahl und Sonotrodentyp. Eine hohe Amplitude bedeutet eine besonders intensive Beschallung. Der Anschluss der Sonotrode erfolgt an Stufen- oder Boosterhörner. Alle BANDELIN Sonotroden werden aus der Titanlegierung TiAl6V4 (3.7165) gefertigt.
