Preheat before rework

When removing or fitting larger components, IR preheating helps bring the assembly evenly up to temperature. This reduces thermal stress and shortens the time local heat acts on the board. Choose a heating output that suits the board size.

Hold the board securely

A suitable board holder keeps the assembly stable and accessible. Check compatibility with the relevant device series:

Reballing and prebumping
