Ecotile - ready-to-lay PVC industrial floor tiles
Ecotile is a British manufacturer of interlocking industrial floor tiles made from PVC. The tiles are laid loose in a click system, directly onto the existing subfloor with no adhesive and no curing time - in most cases work can continue without downtime.
The range at esd.equipment covers conductive ESD floor tiles for electrostatically protected areas, printed safety and marking tiles with pictograms, and logo floor tiles for signage and traffic routing. The standard format is 500x500 mm in various thicknesses and colours.

Choosing the right Ecotile floor tiles
ESD or standard?
Electrostatically protected areas (EPA) require conductive ESD floor tiles. They dissipate charge in a controlled way and protect sensitive components. For general workshop, warehouse and production floors with no ESD requirement, standard tiles are sufficient.
Thickness and load
Tile thickness depends on the load:
- Thinner tiles for pedestrian and light forklift traffic.
- Thicker tiles for heavy loads and continuous use.
The range includes tiles in different thicknesses, commonly around 5 and 7 mm.
Marking and signage
Printed safety and logo tiles replace stuck-on floor markings. They permanently and hard-wearingly mark hazards, mandatory actions such as hearing protection or safety shoes, distances and EPA zones.
Which Ecotile tile fits?
| Criterion | ESD floor tiles | Safety / logo tiles | Standard tiles |

Frequently asked questions about Ecotile
What are Ecotile floor tiles made of?
Ecotile floor tiles are made of rugged PVC. They are interlocking tiles that connect to one another, so entire areas can be laid without any adhesive.
Are Ecotile tiles suitable for ESD areas?
Yes. Ecotile offers conductive ESD floor tiles made of PVC that dissipate static charge in a controlled way. They are suitable for electrostatically protected areas (EPA), for example in electronics manufacturing.
Do the tiles need to be glued down?
No. The tiles are laid loose using an interlocking click system and require no adhesive. The floor can be walked and driven on immediately after installation.
What formats and thicknesses are available?
The standard format is 500x500 mm. The tiles are available in various thicknesses, commonly around 5 and 7 mm, depending on the expected load from traffic and weight.
Can I create floor markings with Ecotile?
Yes. Alongside plain tiles there are printed safety and logo tiles with pictograms for warnings, mandatory actions, distances and ESD marking. They permanently replace stuck-on floor markings.
