Choosing profile size and slot
Cross section and slot width determine how strong the frame is and which connectors fit:
- Slot 6 (20x20) for light structures, covers and fixtures.
- Slot 8 (30x30) for medium-sized racks and guarding.
- Slot 10 (from 40x40) for work tables, machine frames and load-bearing frames.
Matching connection technology
Brackets and cubic connectors join profiles at right angles, T-bolts and T-slot nuts hold add-on parts. Make sure connector and profile have the same slot. For ESD workstations choose the ESD version so that the frame is conductively connected.
From frame to conveyor
Transfer systems move workpieces between stations: belt sections carry workpiece pallets, lift transfer units and positioning units branch them off and fix them in place. For precise motion within a station, ball and roller rail guides complete the system.
