Complaint information

Despite the utmost care in the production, packaging, and shipping of our products, transport damage may occur due to improper handling or force majeure during shipping. In order to ensure a smooth claims process in the event of damage, we kindly ask you to observe the following points.

CLAIMS WITH PARCEL SERVICES

1. CHECKING THE PACKAGING

The packaging must be checked for visible defects before confirming receipt.

2. NOTE

If visible defects are detected on the packaging, these must be noted (e.g., on the delivery note) including the license plate of the delivery vehicle. Important: The note on defects must be countersigned by the driver. Otherwise, the proof is not valid.

3. PROOF OF DAMAGED PACKAGING

Defects in the packaging must be documented visually for A1-ESD equipment. Therefore, please photograph the packaged goods in their original condition.

4. CHECKING THE GOODS

If defects in the packaging have been found, the goods must be checked immediately for defects.

5. PROOF OF DAMAGED GOODS

Defects in the goods must also be documented visually for A1-ESD equipment. Therefore, please photograph the defects accordingly.

6. REPORTING

Both damage to the packaging and to the goods must be reported to A1-ESD equipment in writing within 3 days of receipt, including visual evidence of the defects.

Note. The claim can only be reviewed once all documents are available.

CLAIMS WITH FREIGHT FORWARDERS

1. INSPECTION

The recipient must check the packaging and goods immediately upon acceptance—without undue delay—for damage, completeness, and quality.

2. NOTE

If visible defects are detected (e.g., packaging damage, product damage, etc.), these must be noted on the delivery receipt, including the license plate, forwarding agent, and name of the driver, and signed by the driver. Visible defects should also be entered on the driver's handheld scanner.

3. PROOF

Visible defects in packaging or goods must be documented visually for A1-ESD equipment. Therefore, please photograph all defects clearly.

4. REPORTING

Both damage to the packaging and to the goods must be reported to A1-ESD equipment in writing within 3 days of receipt, including visual evidence of the defects.

Note. The claim can only be reviewed once all documents are available.

GENERAL INFORMATION

If the goods are accepted without a note regarding shortages or damage, and thus the goods are confirmed to be in perfect condition and complete, a claim is not valid and cannot be accepted. Claims can only be processed if they are made in writing to A1-ESD equipment GmbH within 3 working days of receipt of the goods. Claims made after this period will not be processed and will generally be rejected.
