ESD spray paint and dissipative lacquers allow surfaces not originally ESD-rated, such as sheet metal enclosures, shelves, or partitions, to be brought into the dissipative resistance range retroactively. AstraStat ESD spray lacquer is available in standard RAL colours (RAL 3000 red, RAL 5014 pigeon blue, RAL 7035 light grey, RAL 9005 black, RAL 1023 traffic yellow) and is supplied as an aerosol in 400 ml cans. An adhesion primer (4S-HP-S, 400 ml) improves adhesion on smooth and non-absorbent substrates before painting.
