Pneumatic chipper CH-24 - Nitto Kohki 91500001

These compact air chippers strike flat chisels and scrapers at 4.000 to 6.000 min-1 to break loose mill scale, weld residue and hard deposits. At 0,9 to 1,7 kg the tool stays manageable in one hand through longer jobs.

• Operating weights of 0,9 to 1,7 kg allow single-handed work and access to awkward positions.
• Air demand of 0,15 to 0,2 m³/min is modest, so an existing workshop compressor is usually enough.
• A 12,7 mm square chisel chuck or a 10,5 mm round shank version can be chosen to match the chisels already in stock.
• A chisel is fitted on delivery, with a PT3/8 x NPT3/8 bushing and a PT3/8 x 3/8 hose nipple included.

Operating principle

A piston driven by compressed air strikes the shank of the fitted chisel. The chuck keeps the chisel guided so the impact energy arrives at the cutting edge.
