Protect Gate barrier with two swing arms, chrome-plated - A1-ESD EP0301025

The Protect Gate barrier as a double unit controls access to ESD protected areas (EPA) via two swing arms and ensures that only authorised persons enter the zone. The modular system adapts to the building conditions.

Modular design

The system is based on two motor columns to which different arms in frame, plexiglass or safety glass are fitted. Additional control kits such as radar sensor, photocell or wireless remote control extend the system. The surface is high-gloss chrome-plated as standard, optionally coated in other colours or in your chosen RAL colour.

Safety

• Mechanical panic release: opens in both directions by pressing against the arm
• Electronic safety: immediate stop when persons or objects are in the swing range
• Emergency opening in exit direction on fire alarm, optionally automatic
• Holding brakes automatically released on power failure
• Light ring at the top: green release, red closing, flashing red alarm

• 2x base structure for tubular swing arm, chrome-plated
• 2x frame swing arm, round 1200 x 300 x 1200 mm (max. 1400 mm), chrome
• 2x floor power feed, with mounting material
• Crystal-clear printed sign with arrow and barrier symbol
• Adapter for external connection, connection for remote control

Application

For controlled people flow at wide entrances of EPA areas in production, cleanroom and assembly as part of an ESD protection concept per IEC 61340-5-1.
