Overview

The Hakko 374-6 is an automatic solder feed system with an integrated V-groove slitting mechanism that scores the solder wire surface before feeding, releasing trapped flux gas and preventing solder balling at the joint. Based on the proven 373 platform, the 374 adds this anti-splattering function for cleaner, more consistent joints in demanding production environments. The 374-6 variant is configured and bundled for use with 1.0 mm diameter solder wire.

Applications

Suited for high-volume production soldering where solder balling is a quality concern, such as wave solder preparation, selective soldering touch-up, and precision through-hole work.
