Small areas, steps and intermediate sanding are hard to control with a large sander because the pad rides over the contour. These compact sanders weigh 0.5 kg, work with a short orbit of 1.2 to 1.5 mm and need 0.14 to 0.2 m³/min of air.

• A short orbit of 1.2 to 1.5 mm at 15,000 to 20,000 rpm produces a fine finish for intermediate sanding.
• Pad sizes of 75 x 82 and 100 x 110 mm reach narrow steps and edges.
• A weight of 0.5 kg keeps hand and arm load low during continuous sanding.
• Air consumption of 0.14 to 0.2 m³/min is low, so several tools can run off one supply.
• Abrasive paper in grits 180 and 240, an adaptor bushing and a hose assembly are included.

Operating principle

The air motor drives the pad in a small-diameter orbital motion. The shorter the orbit, the finer the finish at a given grit. Quoted speeds are no-load figures.
