From Düsseldorf
to Solingen -
a journey

In 2009 - in the middle of the global financial crisis - we founded A1-ESD Equipment GmbH in the heart of Düsseldorf. As Germany's economic capital on the Rhine, the city offered ideal conditions: proximity to international corporations, first-class infrastructure and a business-friendly environment.

What began as a specialist supplier of antistatic workstation systems grew year after year. In 2018 came the next step: relocating to Solingen - into a modern office in the city world-famous for its cutlery craftsmanship. Solingen stands for quality and perfection - and the parallel is clear: just like the blades of Solingen, our work stands for precision and quality.

Today our portfolio covers soldering technology from JBC, Ersa, Hakko and Weller, pneumatic and hydraulic components from Festo and Bosch Rexroth, and ESD protection systems compliant with IEC 61340-5-1 - all from a single source, with personal consultation. We supply electronics manufacturers, research laboratories and industrial companies in over 50 countries.

2009
Founded in Düsseldorf
In the heart of Düsseldorf, Germany's dynamic economic capital, A1-ESD Equipment GmbH is established - with a clear mission: antistatic workstation systems for electronics manufacturing. The industrial proximity of the Rhine region and the city's international reach provide the ideal foundation for the launch.
2012
First online shop
Launch of our e-commerce platform - the cornerstone of our digital strategy. For the first time, customers across Germany can order directly from our extensive ESD product range. First partnerships with leading brand manufacturers are established.
2015
Expansion: soldering & tooling
The range grows: JBC, Ersa, Hakko and Weller - the most prestigious names in professional soldering - are added to the catalogue. A1-ESD becomes a one-stop shop for electronics manufacturing.
2018
New office in Solingen
A major step: A1-ESD leaves Düsseldorf and moves to Solingen - into a modern office in the traditional cutlery city. The move creates space for a growing team and an expanded warehouse. At the same time, the shop goes trilingual (DE, EN, FR) and international shipping to over 30 countries is established.
2020
Pneumatics, hydraulics & 200,000 products
Expansion into pneumatic and hydraulic components. The range exceeds 200,000 items. New partnerships with Festo and Bosch Rexroth underline the ambition to cover all industrial sectors.
2023
400,000+ products & 50+ countries
A1-ESD Equipment now supplies customers in over 50 countries. The range includes more than 400,000 products from over 100 premium brands - from antistatic workstation systems to precision measuring instruments.
2025
Technology leadership & digital innovation
