All T18 tips are manufactured from iron-plated copper cores with a nickel-chrome outer layer, achieving a working life 5-8× longer than standard copper tips, and comply with IEC 61010-1 safety requirements for soldering equipment. The tinned contact surface maintains solderability across 10,000+ heat cycles, with tip-to-ground resistance below 2 Ω for ESD-safe applications per IEC 61340-5-1.
