Soldering and Desoldering Tips
Hakko soldering and desoldering tips are available in more than 30 series for a wide range of Hakko handpieces, from T16-compatible chip desoldering tips to T20 composite chisel tips and the N-series for desoldering stations. The composite construction combines a copper core with a lead-free protective coating, ensuring long service life with SAC alloys and conventional Sn-Pb solders. Geometries range from needle tips (0.6 mm) through chisel widths to chip-specific profiles for package sizes from 0402 to 2220.
Each series is matched to a specific Hakko handpiece line: T-series (T15 to T53) for the most common FX-station handpieces, G-series (G3, G4) for gas irons, N-series (N3, N4, N51, N60, N61) for desoldering stations and the A-series for specialist accessories. Handpiece-to-tip compatibility should be verified using the Hakko compatibility table before ordering.

Typical applications
Typical applications: SMT assembly and soldering in electronics production, rework and repair of BGA, QFP and SMD assemblies, prototype development and lab assembly, desoldering in maintenance workshops, and field service or mobile soldering with G-series gas irons. All series are suitable for EPA zones conforming to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
