ESD Measuring
Digital hygro-thermometers measure humidity and temperature simultaneously and allow continuous monitoring of the ambient climate in EPA areas. Low relative humidity (below approximately 30 % RH) significantly increases the tendency of plastics and personnel to accumulate electrostatic charge; ongoing monitoring is therefore a useful complement to physical ESD protection equipment in production zones handling ESD-sensitive components. The range includes basic digital hygro-thermometers and set variants with a USB interface for data logging and PC analysis, as well as a combination instrument with barometer.
