Hakko G3 Series - TEC
Hakko Soldering and Desoldering Tips
The Hakko G3 Series comprises precision soldering and desoldering tips engineered for use with compatible Hakko soldering stations, delivering controlled heat transfer with tip temperatures stabilized to within ±2 °C of setpoint under IEC 61010-1 safety standards. G3 Series tips feature a iron-plated copper core with a working surface hardened to resist oxidation, maintaining thermal recovery times under 5 seconds even at sustained high-draw joints - critical for lead-free alloys (Sn96.5Ag3Cu0.5) processed at 350-380 °C. The series covers a full geometry range including conical, bevel, chisel, and micro-fine profiles with tip diameters from 0.2 mm to 6.5 mm, supporting both fine-pitch SMD rework (IPC-A-610 Class 3) and through-hole production.
As an authorised distributor of Hakko soldering products, esd.equipment stocks G3 Series tips with verified compatibility for Hakko FX-951, FX-952, FM-203, and FM-206 stations. All tips ship with full material traceability and conform to DIN EN 61010-1 and IPC J-STD-001 workmanship standards - ensuring qualification in regulated manufacturing environments.
Typical application areas: Electronics manufacturing SMT rework (IPC-A-610 Class 2/3), PCB assembly and through-hole soldering (IPC J-STD-001), medical device production (ISO 13485), automotive electronics (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3), precision instrumentation repair, aerospace MRO (AS9100), semiconductor packaging, and contract electronics manufacturing requiring traceable tip qualification.
