The Weller XHT series delivers high-thermal-output soldering tips engineered for demanding lead-free applications requiring sustained tip temperatures up to 450 °C. Each XHT tip features a copper core with iron-plated, chrome-nickel-coated working surfaces, achieving thermal recovery times that keep pace with high-volume hand-soldering on thermally challenging joints - including multi-layer PCBs and heavy copper planes. Tip-to-ground resistance is maintained below 2 Ω to protect ESD-sensitive components in full compliance with IEC 61340-5-1 EPA requirements.
