The Weller XHT soldering tip series is designed for the high-power WP 200 and WXP 200 soldering stations, covering chisel geometries from 3.2x1.2 mm (XHT-C) up to 9.3x2 mm (XHT-F). The series includes five types including a temperature measurement tip. The XHT tip cross-section is sized for the higher power class of these stations to ensure stable heat delivery even at thermally demanding solder joints.

XHT tips are compatible exclusively with the 200 W stations WP 200 and WXP 200 from Weller. For finer geometries on the same stations, the XNT series is available. The chisel widths of the XHT series (3.2-9.3 mm) address joints requiring high heat input that cannot be soldered efficiently with smaller tip geometries. The measurement tip allows verification of joint temperature directly at the station.
Typical applications: High-mass THT connections and grounding terminals, soldering to heat sinks and metal housings, cable assembly with large conductor cross-sections, rework on multi-layer PCBs with high thermal capacity, and industrial connector assembly. The measurement tip enables temperature validation per manufacturing specifications.
