ESD Static Field Meter - TEC
ESD Measuring
ESD field meters measure electrostatic field strength in V/m or kV/m with typical measurement ranges from 0.1 kV/m up to 200 kV/m at distances of 25-300 mm, enabling non-contact surface voltage detection down to <1 V resolution. In EPA environments, accurate field measurement is the primary diagnostic tool for identifying charge sources exceeding the IEC 61340-5-1 threshold of 100 V on conductors and 200 V on insulators - values that cannot be detected by wrist-strap testers or surface resistance meters alone. Instruments with auto-zeroing and Faraday cup compatibility allow calibrated readings traceable to national standards.
This category covers 15 ESD field meters and electrostatic voltmeters for professional use in EPA qualification, charged-insulator audits, and ionizer performance verification per IEC 61340-5-1 / ANSI/ESD S20.20. Products are selected for industrial metrology accuracy, battery or USB operation, and compatibility with EPA documentation workflows under DIN EN 61340-5-2 site audit requirements.
