A tool held all shift long tires the arm and shoulder mostly through its own weight. A spring balancer takes that weight and keeps the tool at working height, with capacities across the range from 0.2 to 70 kg.

• The balancer carries the weight of the tool and the operator only guides it, which relieves arms and shoulders across the whole shift.
• Graded capacities from 0.2 to 70 kg, each model with its own adjustment range so the pull can be matched to the actual tool weight.
• Cable travel from 0.5 to 2 m suits both low jibs and overhead mounting.
• Retractor versions start at 0.3 kg dead weight and mount on light jibs and rails.
• The HW version also takes up the air hose, so hose and tool are retracted together.
• Released, the tool returns to its rest position instead of lying on the bench, keeping the workstation clear.

Operating principle

A preloaded spring winds the cable onto the drum, and the drum torque carries the suspended tool. The pull is set to the tool weight within the capacity range, after which the tool stays put at any height.
