Tweezers
Bernstein tools
The Bernstein tweezers programme covers stainless steel SMD tweezers, TITAN precision tweezers, placement tweezers, plastic tweezers and specialised types for IC handling. SMD tweezers in the 5-000 series are available in forms 2, 2a, 4, 5, 5b, 5abb, 7, 7a and 7abb (110-120 mm each), including ULTRA FINE variants (UF suffix) with an especially fine tip. Cross-locking tweezers (5-057, 5-058, forms 53/53c, self-holding) and TITAN tweezers (5-031 to 5-037, 110-150 mm) form further sub-categories.
Specialised tools are available for transistors and ICs: transistor extraction tweezers (5-006, spoon-shaped jaws, insulated) and placement tweezers with round 5 mm grip (5-007) or 90° angle (5-008). IC tweezers (2-601, 125 mm) and plastic tweezers with serrated tip (05-0030, 130 mm) round out the range.

| Form 2a (straight, very sharp) | 5-059 | 120 mm | Finest SMD components |
| Form 4 (bent) | 5-049, 5-049-UF | 110 mm | SMD lateral gripping |
| Form 5 (angled) | 5-048, 5-031 (TITAN) | 110 mm | SMD / transistor |
| Form 7a (40°) | 5-055, 5-055-UF | 120 mm | Angled placement |
| Cross-locking 53 | 5-057, 5-058 | 120 mm | Hands-free holding |
| IC tweezers | 2-601 | 125 mm | IC handling |
Typical applications: SMT placement and hand-soldering of SMD components, rework and repair on circuit boards, handling of ICs and transistors in electronics manufacturing, laboratory work in precision mechanics and watchmaking, anatomical dissection and fine mechanical assembly with TITAN versions, and quality inspection under magnifier or microscope.
