Flooring

ESD interlocking floor tiles are laid without adhesive and can be lifted again without residue. The tiles interlock mechanically to form a continuous dissipative or conductive surface, with no screed preparation and no waiting for residual moisture. The range runs from the 500 x 500 x 7 mm PVC standard format (Ecotile, ProFloor, ECOSTAT) to the 6 mm Gerflor vinyl tiles at 635 and 650 mm (GTI EL5 Connect and Cleantech). Matching ramps and corner elements bridge the height difference to adjoining floors.

No adhesive, no waiting time - residual moisture in the substrate is irrelevant, the floor can be walked on right after installation
Removable without residue - decisive in rented premises and for temporary EPA zones in exhibition halls or training rooms
Partial replacement instead of relaying - damaged single tiles are swapped without tools, the rest of the floor stays in place
Continuous dissipation - the interlock provides electrical contact between tiles, earthing through earthing tiles or copper strip
📦 Zoning by colour - area boundaries, traffic routes and EPA limits can be shown without marking tape

Conductive means a lower resistance than dissipative. Which grade is required is set by the ESD control programme to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

Typical applications: ESD protected areas in electronics manufacturing and SMT assembly, flexible workplace layouts in rented premises or changing production plans, cleanroom ante-areas with particle requirements, storage and picking areas, and service workshops for sensitive electronic equipment.

Where a continuous surface without a joint grid is required, see sheet flooring. For raised access floors and bonded floors with later partial replacement, see ESD glue-down tiles.
