Hot air underheater
OKI soldering technology
OKI hot-air underheaters preheat PCBs evenly before rework, reducing thermal stress on components and laminate and improving flux behaviour with lead-free solders. The PCT-100-21 (230 V, 450 W) is a basic hot-air heating plate; the PCT-1000 is a programmable plate up to 350 °C (240 V). The modular rework system MRS-1100A combines the programmable HCT-1000 handheld hot-air station (100-240 V) with the PCT-1000 preheater into a complete rework workstation. The Focus unit PCT-102-21 (with arm rest and PCB holder) and the digital hot-air station HCT2-200-21 (220-240 V) are also available.

|---|---|---|---|
| PCT-100-21 | Hot-air heating plate | 230 V / 450 W | Basic model |
| PCT-102-21 | Focus preheating element | 230 V | With arm rest and PCB holder |
| PCT-1000 | Programmable heating plate | 240 V / up to 350 °C | Profile setting |
| HCT-1000 | Handheld hot-air station | 100-240 V | Programmable, with HCT-HV1 |
| MRS-1100A | Modular rework system | 100-240 V | HCT-1000 + PCT-1000 combined |
| HCT2-200-21 | Digital hot-air station | 220-240 V | Hot-air iron, digital |
Typical applications: BGA rework and component replacement with uniform PCB preheating (MRS-1100A / PCT-1000), rework on multi-layer high-density boards with lead-free solders (PCT-1000 preheat profile), rework on boards with high thermal mass (PCT-100-21 as a simple underheater), and standalone hot-air rework without underheating (HCT2-200-21 as an independent hot-air station).
