Hand magnifiers & mirrors
Optical inspection
Hand magnifiers and optical magnification aids allow rapid visual inspection without a stand or digital infrastructure. The Eschenbach range extends from watchmaker's loupes (plano-convex 3x-10x, aspheric 10x) through folding loupes with metal or plastic housing (aplanatic 6x-12x, achromatic up to 12x) to stand magnifiers and illuminated models for continuous use. For hands-free work, head and clip-on loupes (laboComfort binocular 2x, laboCLIP binocular 2x) and scale loupes with 7x or 10x magnification with calibrated measuring insert are available.
| Model / series | Magnif. | Type | Diameter | Application |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Eschenbach 11243-11247 | 3x-7x | Watchmaker's loupe, plano-convex | 25 mm | Precision engineering, watches |
| Eschenbach 1124110 | 10x aspheric | Watchmaker's loupe | 25 mm | Electronics, SMT |
| Eschenbach 11766-117612 | 6x-12x | Folding loupe aplanatic, metal | 15-21 mm | General inspection |
| Eschenbach 11869 / 1187 | 9x / 10x | Folding loupe achromat / biconvex | 21-27 mm | Compact inspection |
| Eschenbach 115410 / 11547 | 7x / 10x | Scale loupe achromatic | - | Dimensional check with measuring insert |
| Eschenbach 164820 / 164620 | 2x binocular | Head / clip-on loupe | - | Hands-free fine work |
Typical applications: Rapid visual inspection of solder joints, labels and component markings in electronics manufacturing, incoming goods inspection without fixed laboratory equipment, watchmaking and precision engineering, precision scale measurement with measuring eyepiece loupes, hands-free binocular inspection and component placement with head loupes, and dimensional control of small parts without calibration equipment.
