Power and gas soldering irons
Ersa Soldering Technology
Ersa mains-powered and gas soldering irons deliver tip temperatures from 300 °C to over 500 °C with thermal recovery times under 30 seconds, making them the go-to choice for field service, prototype assembly, and on-site rework where a soldering station is impractical. Gas irons operate on standard butane cartridges and reach working temperature within 40 seconds, while mains irons offer continuous-duty performance at 230 V / 50-60 Hz with heating elements rated for 15 W to 75 W - fully compliant with IEC 60335-2-45 for electrical hand tools.
As an authorised Ersa distribution partner, esd.equipment stocks 14 models from the Ersa mains and gas iron range, spanning lightweight hobby irons through heavy-duty professional models with replaceable tips compatible with the Ersa 0832 series. All products meet the relevant EN and IEC safety requirements for soldering equipment used in professional electronics manufacturing and maintenance environments.
Typical application areas: Electronics field service and on-site rework (IEC 60335-2-45), prototype and small-batch PCB assembly (IPC J-STD-001), hobbyist and maker electronics, HVAC and refrigeration control wiring, automotive wiring harness repair (IATF 16949 service environments), telecommunication infrastructure maintenance, and industrial sensor installation and replacement.
