Gas irons operate on standard butane cartridges and reach working temperature within 40 seconds, while mains irons offer continuous-duty performance at 230 V / 50-60 Hz with heating elements rated for 15 W to 75 W - fully compliant with IEC 60335-2-45 for electrical hand tools.
