Cold light sources deliver intense white light via fibre optics or goose-neck guides directly to the object without significant heat transfer to the specimen. The range includes LED cold light sources from Schott (KL300 LED, KL1600 LED), Starlight (LED3-W 3000K CRI 80, LED3-P 5700K CRI 70, 100-010056 5700K CRI 90, each 30 W passive cooling), Zeiss (CL 1500 HAL) and Pulch & Lorenz (KL 1600), plus matching goose-neck and semi-rigid light guides with 1 to 3 arms in lengths from 450 to 600 mm.
