Non-sparking other tools
Non-sparking tools
This category groups non-sparking drive components and auxiliary tools in copper-beryllium that complete the socket system for ATEX applications. The range includes adapters (NSB232) for 1/2" to 1" drives, extensions (NSB234) in 100-250 mm for 1/2", 200 mm for 3/4", and 250 mm for 1", universal joint drives (NSB236) in three sizes, sliding T-bars and angle grips, and reversible ratchets (NSB242) for 1/2", 3/4", and 1" drive. Nail bars (NSB602) and centre punches (NSB608), also in copper-beryllium, complete the assortment.

A complete non-sparking socket set for 1/2" drive consists of: reversible ratchet NSB242-16 (245 mm), extensions NSB234-16-100 and NSB234-16-250 for different depths, universal joint NSB236-16 (80 mm) for hard-to-reach fasteners, adapter NSB232 for size transitions to 3/4" or 1", and the matching socket inserts NSB220 (6-30 mm). All components are copper-beryllium, non-sparking per EN 13463.
Typical applications: Socket wrench work in ATEX zones in petrochemical and chemical industry using a fully non-sparking tool system, flange bolting and piping installation in explosive atmospheres, marking and chipping operations with copper-beryllium punches and nail bars in gas-bearing installations, and offshore maintenance work where the complete system must consist of non-sparking components.
