Soldering and desoldering tips
The Thermaltronics tip system is organised into five cartridge series: K (for TMT-9000S), M (for TMT-9000S, with desoldering tips and tweezer pairs), P (for TMT-5000S, two temperature grades P60 and P75), S (for TMT-2000S, same geometry family as K) and T (for TMT-2000S, with desoldering tips and tweezer pairs, same family as M). Each series covers tip shapes from conical at 0.1 mm through chisel, bevelled, hoof-shaped and knife-shaped to desoldering tips (inner diameter 0.8-2.4 mm) and tweezer pairs.

Typical applications
Typical applications: Hand soldering and rework of all SMD geometries (0201 to MELF, QFP, SOT), desoldering of THT components with desoldering tips from M and T series, SMD chip rework with tweezer pairs, and fine-pitch hand soldering with Micro Fine conical tips from 0.1 mm.
