Tool bags and backpacks are the transport format for field service, wherever tools are carried rather than wheeled. Compared with a hard shell case what counts here is carrying comfort, the number of pockets and loops, and a rigid base that keeps the bag open when it is set down. Backpacks spread the load across both shoulders and leave the hands free, while roll bags and trolley versions take on heavy contents. Equipped versions for electricians are tested to IEC 60900 and rated for work up to 1000 V. Selection follows the carrying format, the pocket layout, weather resistance and whether a laptop compartment is needed. The range holds 41 articles, led by C.K, Bahco, Wera, Wiha and Knipex.
