ESD Packaging
Foil sealing equipment for ESD packaging heat-seals antistatic and dissipative films into tightly closed bags and packaging units. The range covers bar sealers with seal lengths from 200 mm (2 mm seam, continuously adjustable) to 620 mm (3 mm seam) as well as an ESD vacuum packaging machine for airtight sealing. Accessories including roll holders, work tables, spare parts kits (with and without cutting blade) and Teflon covers for the Sealmaster ensure continuous operation.
Selecting the right sealer depends on the maximum film web or bag width and whether a vacuum function is required. For standard applications with tubular and flat bags up to 200 mm wide, continuously adjustable bar sealers with a 2 mm seam are suitable. Wider bags require the unit with a 620 mm seal length and 3 mm seam width. For combined vacuum sealing of MSL components prior to dry cabinet storage, the ESD vacuum packaging machine is available. Spare parts kits extend the service life of heating wires and Teflon coatings.
Typical applications: Sealing of ESD shielding bags and tubular films in SMT manufacturing, vacuum sealing of MSL-classified components before dry storage, packaging of PCBs and assemblies for shipment, and producing custom bags from roll stock at ESD packaging stations.
