ESD-Koffer
ESD Packaging
ESD cases provide a Faraday-cage shielding effect with surface resistance in the range of 10⁵-10⁷ Ω, protecting electrostatic-sensitive devices (ESD sensitivity Class 0 per IEC 61340-5-1 down to 100 V HBM) during transport, storage, and field service. Conductive foam inserts, typically with a volume resistivity of 10³-10⁶ Ω/cm, prevent charge generation on component leads, while snap-lock aluminium or reinforced ABS shells rated to IP 54 guard against mechanical shock and humidity ingress.
esd.equipment stocks 20 ESD case variants - from compact service cases for individual PCBs up to rack-format transport cases for populated assemblies - all compliant with DIN EN 61340-5-1 and IEC 61340-5-2 EPA packaging requirements. Grounding straps, humidity indicator cards, and custom foam inlays are available as accessories to build a fully certified ESD-protected transport chain.
