Electric screwdrivers
Hios electric screwdrivers are precision screwdriving spindles for industrial assembly with defined torques from 0.03 to 10 Nm. The range covers brushless plug-in screwdrivers of the VB series (0.4-10 Nm), the brushless stationary BLG-5000-HT, and brushed-motor CL-series screwdrivers (0.3-5 Nm). Weidmüller additionally offers torque electric screwdrivers at 0.3-2.5 Nm and 200/400 rpm. Automation units BLF-2000 (0.03-0.35 Nm) and BLF-5000/5000X (0.3-1.0 Nm) cover automated fastening applications.

The brushless VB plug-in series provides precise torque control for hand-guided assembly and is paired with the appropriate power supply. The CL series with brushed motor is suited to continuous operation at moderate torques. BLF models are available for automation, integrating directly into automated assembly stations. The PS suffix denotes pistol-grip ergonomics for improved handling of overhead fasteners. The torque range is the primary selection parameter: from 0.03 Nm for small electronics screws up to 10 Nm for structural fastening with the VBH-3012.
Typical applications: Electronics manufacturing and PCB assembly with low torques (BLF-2000, CL-7000), device assembly and housing fastening in the mid-torque range (VB series), automated screwdriving stations (BLF-5000/5000X), and high-torque industrial assembly in automotive and production environments with VBH high-torque screwdrivers (up to 10 Nm).
