Metcal soldering and desoldering stations of the MX-5200 series use the SmartHeat technology principle, which regulates the soldering temperature via the electromagnetic skin effect directly within the tip - without a separate PID control unit. The dual-channel MX supply unit (MX-PS5200) allows simultaneous operation of two MX-H1-AV handpieces, making it suitable for demanding multi-station soldering configurations. The range covers nine articles including the two-channel stations MX-5210, MX-5211, MX-5241 and MX-5251 with different handpiece and tool combinations.
