Dispensing
Nordson EFD dispensing needles are the final element of the dispensing system and determine drop size, flow rate and application precision. The range covers straight, bent (45°), tapered, flexible and oval versions in gauge sizes from 14 to 20 (inner diameter 0.48 to 1.60 mm) and lengths from 0.25" to 1.5". Each gauge size is identified by a standardised colour: olive (gauge 14), amber (gauge 15), grey (gauge 16), green (gauge 18) and pink (gauge 20).
Alongside Nordson EFD and Oki we carry the Reeco dispensing needles for the RE-1900 pneumatic dispenser. The PN plastic needles come in sizes 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22 with the usual colour coding, and the stainless steel needles cover sizes 10 G, 11 G and 12 G with inner diameters from 2.27 to 2.9 mm. All needles fit the 10 and 30 cm3 dispensing syringes.

Typical applications: Precision application of adhesives and solder pastes to SMD components and connectors, applying lubricants and fluxes at contact points in electronics manufacturing, dispensing UV adhesives into small cavities and tight access points (bent needles), broad application of paste-form materials (tapered needles), and use in medical technology and laboratory automation.
