Articulated and flex arm lights put the light where the work happens: at assembly and inspection stations, at workbenches and on machines. The head sits on a spring-balanced articulated arm, on a flexible gooseneck, on a table clamp, on a magnetic holder or on a base. Luminous flux runs from 180 lm to 14400 lm at 2 W to 125 W, light colour from 3000 K to 5700 K, plus luminaires with tunable white. Colour rendering is Ra 80 or Ra 90.

- What is the difference between an articulated arm and a flex arm?
- An articulated arm holds its position through springs and joints and carries larger heads as well. A flex arm is a bendable gooseneck that can be shaped freely and is meant for small, light heads.
- How is the luminaire fixed?
- Articulated arm, table clamp, magnetic holder and base are available. Table clamp and magnetic holder need no drilling, and the base can simply be moved across the work surface.
- What does tunable white offer?
- Tunable white lets you shift the light colour between warm and cool white. That helps at stations with changing visual tasks. For integration into a central lighting control there are DALI dimmable luminaires as well.
- How much light is sensible?
- Luminous flux runs from 180 lm to 14400 lm at a power input of 2 W to 125 W. Low values are enough for a flex arm light directly above the workpiece, high values light a whole workbench.
- Which colour rendering do I need?
- Ra 90 is the choice when colours and surfaces have to be judged reliably, for example in visual and final inspection. Ra 80 is enough for general assembly work.
