Precision tweezers are hand tools for gripping, positioning and inspecting small components in electronics manufacturing, laboratories and precision engineering. Tip geometry follows the Swiss pattern system (00, 0, 1, 2, 2A, 3, 3C, 4, 5, 5A, 7, 7A, AA, OO, SS, MM), where digit and letter define tip width and bend. ESD versions are dissipative to IEC 61340-5-1 and keep resistance within 10⁶ to 10⁹ Ω, so electrostatic sensitive devices are not damaged during handling. The range covers 550 articles, with Bernstein, Weller, Knipex, Piergiacomi and Lindström as the leading brands.
