Soldering tips
JBC soldering technology
JBC soldering tips are precisely matched to the respective handpieces and soldering irons in the JBC system line. Each tip series carries its own designation: C210 for the T210 handpiece, C245 for the T245, C470 for the high-power T470, R245/R470 for rework handpieces, C105/C115 for Nano handpieces, and W140/W440 for the WS140 and WS440 desoldering tweezers. The key-hole mounting system provides a positive-locking fit allowing tool-free tip changes when cold.
The CLASSIC series covers tips for older stations including 14ST, 30ST/40ST, 150 S LD and 325 S LD, plus the desoldering gun series 3040000. Gas soldering iron tips are available in DF 2.4 mm and DF 3.2 mm. The range spans standard geometries (conical, chisel, bevel, angled) through to special forms for drag soldering, QFP, PLCC, tunnel and socket desoldering.

| Geometry | Typical size | Application |
|---|---|---|
| Conical, straight | D: 0.1-3.5 mm | THT and SMD, general purpose |
| Conical, bent | D: 0.3-4 mm | Restricted-access locations |
| Chisel | 0.2x0.1 to 28x4 mm | Pad soldering, bridging, heat transfer |
| Bevel | D: 1.3-7.5 mm | Large pads, through-hole connections |
| Blade | 3.5-32.2 mm | Drag soldering, SMD rows |
| Drag (Schlepp) | 0.75/1.25 mm | IC lead rows, SOIC, QFP |
| QFP/PLCC desoldering | 8.5x8.5 to 17x17 mm | SMD chip rework, BGA-adjacent |
Typical applications: SMD assembly and THT soldering in electronics manufacturing, rework and repair of QFP, PLCC and chip components, micro-soldering and coating removal with Nano handpieces (NT105/NP105, NT115/NP115), cable and connector soldering with W440 tips, and manual soldering stations in laboratory and development environments.
