Empty cases, inlays and spare parts extend existing tool sets and allow a company to build its own. Empty cases are selected by the number of slot-in pockets, commonly 28 to 90 in an X-ABS hard shell, optionally with wheels and a four-stage telescopic handle. ESD empty cases and dissipative folding pouches are mandatory as soon as the set is kept inside the EPA: IEC 61340-5-1 requires the container to be dissipative as well, not only the tools. Contour-cut or CNC milled foam inserts show a missing piece at once, and this kind of tool inventory check is a requirement in aerospace and medical technology. The group also covers wear and spare parts such as cutting wires, abrasive belts and filters. The range holds 120 articles, led by Knipex, Wera, Bernstein and Proxxon.
