Saws and saw blades for the workshop, prototype shop and model making cover the range from the pocket saw to the fine cut bench circular saw. The cut quality is determined by tooth pitch and tooth count, by blade material (spring steel, HSS, carbide tipped or diamond coated) and by the cutting speed of the machine. For hacksaws and hand saws the pitch is given in teeth per inch; fine pitches from 32 TPI are intended for thin walled tube and profile so that at least three teeth stay in engagement. For insulated work there are VDE hacksaws rated 1000 V. The range covers 59 articles, with Proxxon, Bahco, Bernstein, C.K and Knipex as the leading brands.

Typical applications: cutting DIN rail, cable duct and profiles to length in control cabinet building; prototype and sample production with fine cut bench circular saw and scroll saw; model making with fine pitch scroll and band saw blades; cutting glass, ceramic and GRP with diamond coated discs; tube and threaded rod cutting during assembly; service work on plant components with an insulated hacksaw.
