Brushes
Cleaning and care
ESD brushes are used for mechanical cleaning of ESD-sensitive surfaces, PCBs, and components without generating or transferring static charges. The Kinetronics SW programme offers flat brushes in widths from 20 mm to 2100 mm for handheld and stationary cleaning tasks. Models with a grounding cable (SW-101, SW-141, SW-281) actively dissipate charges to earth; the SWG programme covers the graphics industry with widths from 100 to 625 mm.
| Model | Width | Feature |
|---|---|---|
| Kinetronics SW-020 | 20 mm | ESD flat brush, cleaning brush |
| Kinetronics SW-030 | 30 mm | ESD flat brush |
| Kinetronics SW-060 | 60 mm | ESD flat brush |
| Kinetronics SW-100 | 100 mm | ESD flat brush |
| Kinetronics SW-101 | 100 mm | ESD flat brush with grounding cable |
| Kinetronics SW-140 | 140 mm | ESD flat brush |
| Kinetronics SW-141 | 140 mm | Antistatic with grounding cable |
| Kinetronics SW-280 | 280 mm | ESD flat brush |
| Kinetronics SWL-300 to SWL-2100 | 300-2100 mm | Professional, film/paper/laminate |
| Warmbier 6100.1001 | 140 mm | ESD flat brush, soft |
Typical applications: Cleaning of PCBs and SMD components before and after assembly, removal of flux residues and dust from assemblies, cleaning of optical components and sensors, large-area antistatic cleaning of films, paper, and laminating machines (SWL series), and maintenance and repair of electronic equipment in EPA areas.
