Engravings, small radii and fine edges are hard to reach with a standard filing machine because the tool simply does not fit the geometry. These micro filing machines weigh 0.37 kg, work with strokes of 0.5 to 2.2 mm and need only 0.07 m³/min of air.

• Short strokes of 0.5 to 2.2 mm keep the tool controllable inside small contours and engravings.
• Stroke rates of 11,000 to 22,000 per minute give even material removal at low contact pressure.
• A tool weight of 0.37 kg allows pen-like guidance.
• Air consumption of 0.07 m³/min is low, so several stations can run off one supply.
• One flat and one round diamond file are included, along with a hex key and a quick coupling for connection.

Operating principle

An air motor converts the air supply into a short linear oscillation of the clamped file. The short-stroke version runs at the higher stroke rate, so the two versions differ in the level of fineness they reach.
