Choosing the right Aventics valve system
Define the bus system
The first step is choosing the communication interface. Aventics AV valve systems are available for various fieldbuses and industrial Ethernet protocols - such as PROFINET, PROFIBUS, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP and CANopen. What matters is which protocol your control system uses.
Size and modularity
The series differ in size and valve density. Smaller systems such as AV03 suit compact machines, larger ones such as AV05 suit higher flow rates and more valve stations. As the systems are modular, the number of valves can be matched to requirements.
Air preparation and pressure control
The right pressure control is important for stable processes. Electropneumatic pressure regulating valves set defined pressure values and keep them constant. Mind the required pressure range and the nominal width.
