Solder Pots
Reeco Soldering Technology
When tinning stranded wire, cable lugs and component leads, a dip bath beats the iron as soon as the job comes up several times a day. The solder stays at temperature, the part goes in, and wetting is finished evenly within seconds.
Reeco offers three solder pots: the compact RE-30B with a 36 mm bath for single benches, the RE-50B with a 50 mm internal diameter and 500 g of solder, and the RE-600B with a rectangular 98 x 121 mm bath holding 5.5 kg for series work. All three baths are coated with titanium compounds, which slows the attack of molten solder on the base material and makes lead-free alloys unproblematic.
| Model | Bath | Maximum temperature | Solder capacity | Power |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RE-30B | 36 mm diameter | 500 °C | compact, for wire and leads | weight 1.1 kg |
| RE-50B | 50 mm diameter | 430 °C | up to 500 g | 160 W, 200 W maximum |
| RE-600B | 98 x 121 x 58 mm | 450 °C | up to 5.5 kg | 600 W |
Typical applications: Tinning stranded wire, cable lugs and leads, preparing components before assembly, removing old solder in repair and rework, dip soldering complete assemblies in small series production and prototype work in laboratory and development.
