Euro containers
ESD Boxes
ESD Euro containers in conductive plastic follow the standardised 600 x 400 mm grid and reliably protect electrostatic sensitive components from uncontrolled charge discharge. The Auer ESD EG series covers formats from 215 x 150 mm to 800 x 600 mm, including base containers (ESD EG) with heights of 12 to 75 mm and hinged-lid variants (ESD ED) for dust-proof storage. With over 200 articles, this series represents the highest-volume ESD container range in the programme.
All types carry the HG suffix, indicating the colour-coded High-Grade ESD version with a defined surface resistance. The hinged-lid models (ESD ED 32/12 HG to ESD ED 43/75 HG) are suited to applications where containers are not only stored but also circulate during transport.
| Format code | Outer dimension (mm) | Height (mm) | Version |
|---|---|---|---|
| ESD EG 32/12 HG | 300 x 200 | 120 | Base container |
| ESD EG 43/17 HG | 400 x 300 | 170 | Base container |
| ESD EG 64/12 HG | 600 x 400 | 120 | Base container |
| ESD EG 86/32 HG | 800 x 600 | 320 | Base container |
| ESD ED 32/12 HG | 300 x 200 | 120 | Hinged lid |
| ESD ED 43/17 HG | 400 x 300 | 170 | Hinged lid |
Typical applications: SMT production and assembly stores with Euro container closed-loop systems, goods receipt and dispatch of electrostatic sensitive components (ESDS), automated small-parts warehouses with gripper interfaces, automotive electronics suppliers in the VDA-KLT environment, and semiconductor and medical device manufacturing.
