Once a populated board leaves the EPA, the packaging is what protects it. The Highshield bag shields on the Metal-In principle, with the vapour deposited aluminium layer protected inside the film structure.

Benefits

• Dissipative polyester outside, dissipative polyethylene inside, aluminium metallisation in between.
• Electrostatic shielding below 10 nJoule in the energy test, protection against discharge and fields.
• Zipper closure instead of a weld seam, the bag can be opened and closed again many times.

Transport, shipping and storage of printed circuit boards, plug-in assemblies and ESD sensitive spare parts outside the EPA. Inside the EPA the 457 x 457 mm format serves as intermediate storage, the zipper allowing repeated access.
