Details

The PT A6 is a Weller Longlife soldering tip for the Magnastat system. A ferromagnetic sensor regulates the tip to its fixed 310°C working temperature: as the sensor nears its Curie point the heater switches off, and as the tip cools it switches back on. The working temperature is set simply by choosing the tip.
