Manual desoldering aids

Soldering

Manual desoldering aids include desoldering braid from Techspray and Chemtronics for flux-assisted solder removal at THT and SMD joints. The range covers widths from 0.8 mm (white/ESD), 1.4 mm (yellow/ESD), 1.9 mm (green/ESD), 2.5 mm (blue/ESD) up to 3.3 mm (brown/ESD), available in lengths of 1.5 m, 3 m and 30.5 m. In parallel, No Clean variants in the Techspray 1820/1821/1822/1823/1824 series require no post-desoldering cleaning. All Techspray ESD braid types carry the ESD designation in the product name.

Chemtronics SW80 - ESD desoldering braid in 0.8 mm / 1.5 mm / 2 mm, packs of 1.5 m and 3 m
Techspray standard series - flux within the braid, for standard soldering processes requiring cleaning
Techspray No Clean series - halogen-free flux, no post-desoldering rework needed
Colour coding by width - white 0.9 mm to brown 3.3 mm, consistent across Techspray range

Typical applications: Manual solder removal from SMD pads and THT through-holes, rework and repair without a vacuum pump, solder residue cleanup in hand-soldering processes, No Clean desoldering in IPC-J-STD-001-compliant processes without subsequent cleaning, and ESD-safe braid for use at EPA workstations.
