IP68 horizontal rotating laser with manual dual grade 8 % - Leica Rugby CLAx250

Anyone setting out foundations and aligning formwork, with the odd fall to build in, does not want to pay for functions that stay unused. The Rugby CLAx is built to be upgraded, and this package unlocks the x250 level, meaning horizontal plane, plumb-up beam and manual dual grade up to 8 %. Accuracy and ruggedness stay those of the series, ±1.5 mm at 30 m and IP68 protection.

Benefits

• Manual grade in two axes up to ±8 %, which covers drainage falls, yard surfaces and ramps without needing a higher software level.
• Self-levelling accuracy ±1.5 mm at 30 m with a self-levelling range of ±6°, so the laser compensates set-up deviations itself.
• IP68 and MIL-STD-810G protection, dust tight, permanently watertight and tested against the usual site loads. That is a clear step above the common IP67 level.
• 50 hours of operation per Li-Ion charge, plus a one hour fast charge that gives eight hours of work when the battery is flat in the morning.
• Working diameter up to 1350 m with the CLC Combo+ receiver or the Rod Eye 140 and 160, so one set-up covers large areas.
• Upgradable later, the software levels of the series extend the same laser with vertical operation, variable head speeds or dial-in grade, without changing the instrument.
• Extra functions through the CLC Combo+ such as HI alert, beam masking, temperature stability control and slope catch are operated from the receiver-remote.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The Rugby CLAx works with the CLC Combo+ as a combined receiver and remote and with the Rod Eye 140 Classic and Rod Eye 160 Digital receivers, each up to 1350 m working diameter. The Combo+ is required to operate HI alert, beam masking, temperature stability control and slope catch. The x550 and x700 software levels later extend the same laser with vertical operation, variable head speeds, beam scanning and dial-in grade.
