Horizontal and vertical rotating laser with dial-in grade 8 % - Leica Rugby CLAx550

As soon as walls, columns and falls come into play alongside the horizontal, a pure horizontal laser is no longer enough. The x550 software level turns the Rugby CLAx into a laser for horizontal, vertical and laydown work and adds semi-automatic dial-in grade up to 8 % in one and in two axes. The plane stays accurate to ±1.5 mm at 30 m and the housing is rated IP68 and MIL-STD-810G.

Applications

Transferring heights in shell construction and interior fit-out, aligning stud walls and column lines in vertical mode, marking out facade and ceiling grids, building drainage falls and yard surfaces with a dialled-in grade up to 8 %, checking excavation depths and subgrade, setting out pipe trenches with a defined longitudinal fall.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The Rugby CLAx works with the CLC Combo+ as a combined receiver and remote and with the Rod Eye 140 Classic and Rod Eye 160 Digital receivers, each up to 1350 m working diameter. The Combo+ is needed to operate the variable head speeds, beam scanning, beam masking, HI alert, temperature stability control and slope catch. The x700 software level later extends the same laser to fully automatic grade up to 15 %.
