Rotating laser with fully automatic dual grade 15 % and vertical mode - Leica Rugby CLAx700

Once falls get steeper than the usual 8 %, on embankments, ramps or stockpiles, the choice of instrument narrows quickly. The x700 software level releases fully automatic dial-in grade up to 15 % in one and in two axes on the Rugby CLAx, meaning the entire grade range the hardware supports. With an adapter the manufacturer states up to 45°. The plane still holds ±1.5 mm at 30 m.

Applications

Embankments, fill and stockpiles with falls above 8 %, ramps and access roads, parking areas and yard surfaces with a two-axis fall, checking excavation depths and subgrade, transferring heights in shell construction, aligning stud walls and column lines in vertical mode, setting out pipe trenches with a defined longitudinal fall.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The Rugby CLAx works with the CLC Combo+ as a combined receiver and remote and with the Rod Eye 140 Classic and Rod Eye 160 Digital receivers, each up to 1350 m working diameter. The Combo+ is needed to operate the variable head speeds, beam scanning, beam masking, HI alert, temperature stability control and slope catch. The x700 level is the highest software level of the series, so no later upgrade is required.
