Permanent software configuration, automatic dual axis grade up to 15 % - Leica Rugby x700

As soon as grade is required in two axes and over a wider range, manual grade is no longer enough. This software configuration from Leica Geosystems raises a Rugby CLAx allround laser permanently to the x700 level and unlocks dual automatic two-axis grade up to 15 % with dial-in entry.

What is unlocked

• Dual automatic two-axis grade up to 15 %, longitudinal and cross fall are set together and the range reaches well beyond the 8 % of the lower levels.
• Dial-in entry on the instrument, the fall is entered as a numeric value instead of being trimmed in, which saves setup time at every station.
• Automatic tracking, the instrument holds the set grade on its own instead of taking it semi-automatically.
• Permanent unlock, the configuration stays on the instrument and does not expire like a rental licence.
• No instrument swap, the existing base unit stays in service and case, battery and charger continue to be used.

Applications

Road and track construction with longitudinal and cross fall, embankments and ramps, parking areas draining in two directions, earthworks to a formation level, sports grounds and open area works. Wherever a fall above 8 % or in both axes at once is needed.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

Intended for the Leica Rugby CLAx allround rotating laser. In the Leica price book this item together with the instrument forms the Rugby CLAx700 package. As a single line item it serves to retrofit an instrument already in use. Scope of delivery: one permanent software configuration, no hardware component.

The configurations of the Rugby CLAx range build on each other. x250 brings single-axis manual grade up to 8 % and smart targeting, x550 is the middle level, x700 delivers dual automatic two-axis grade up to 15 %.
